Summary: This program informs teens of the role of school resource officers on campus and how the police can be of help. Subjects covered include students rights on and off campus; the school resource officer; how to avoid trouble with the law; local and federal laws; common punishments for breaking the law; juvenile hall; the role of the police; and probation. Through interviews with officers and teens, students will gain a broad understanding of laws, why they exist, and how they are enforced.
