Stolen Secrets

Summary: In this revealing episode it's 1945, and Soviet propaganda films are inviting all Russia to celebrate the glorious victory of communism over Nazi Germany during World War II. However, all is not well in Russia. The desperate struggle against the German army has ruined the economy. There is misery, poverty, and devastation on the streets of Moscow and throughout the country. And the defeat of Nazi Germany has given western countries the opportunity to launch an international movement aimed at preventing the spread of communism. Furthermore, perhaps the greatest blow to Soviet pride is the fact that the U.S. has won the race to produce the first atom bomb.
