Maud Drennan is a dedicated caregiver whose tragic past has left her haunted by a chorus of prattling saints that only she can see. She finds solace in her work abd humble existence -until she meets the cantankerous Cathal Flood, a combative widower who lives in a Gothic mansion crawling with feral cats.
